The Leading Awards Gala — Terms & Conditions
By entering The Leading Awards (“TLAs”), entrants agree to the following terms and conditions. Submission of an entry confirms that you have read, understood, and accepted these rules in full.
1. Eligibility
Entries are open to qualified professionals, clinics, salons, and brands operating within the aesthetics, beauty, business, and hair industries across the United Kingdom and Ireland.
Entrants must hold valid insurance, qualifications, and any required certifications relevant to their field of practice.
All information provided must be accurate and truthful. Any false or misleading information will result in immediate disqualification.
2. Entry Process
All entries must be submitted via the official TLAs entry form by the published deadline.
Incomplete, illegible, or late submissions will not be accepted.
Only entries submitted via the official online system will be considered.
Each category entered requires a separate entry fee.
3. Fees and Refund Policy
Entry fees are strictly non-refundable under all circumstances, including withdrawal, disqualification, or inability to attend the ceremony.
Once payment has been received, no refunds or transfers will be issued.
In the unlikely event of cancellation by the organisers, alternative arrangements will be communicated to all entrants.
4. Judging
All entries will be reviewed initially by the TLAs Judging Panel, who will shortlist the highest-scoring submissions based on the entry criteria and supporting evidence provided.
Once shortlisted, finalists will proceed to category-level judging, where dedicated Category Judges will evaluate the finalists and determine the winners for each category.
Judging is conducted fairly and independently, with all decisions based solely on merit and the quality of the evidence submitted.
The judges’ decisions are final and not open to appeal.
Feedback provided by judges remains confidential and will not be shared publicly.
5. Finalist Announcement
Finalists will be publicly announced via TLAs’ official communication channels and social media platforms.
Being named a finalist does not guarantee an award win.
All finalists must confirm their attendance by the date stated in their finalist notification email.
6. Attendance Requirement
Attendance at the awards ceremony is mandatory for all finalists.
Winners will be announced exclusively at the live awards ceremony.
Finalists who are not in attendance — and have not sent an approved representative — will forfeit their award, which may be reassigned to the next highest-scoring entrant.
Trophies, certificates, or titles will not be posted, delivered, or awarded to absent finalists.
Exceptions may only be made in extreme circumstances, at the sole discretion of the organisers.
7. Conduct
All entrants and attendees are expected to maintain professionalism and respect at all times.
TLAs reserve the right to remove or disqualify any entrant or attendee whose behaviour is deemed inappropriate or detrimental to the reputation of the awards.
8. Media & Marketing Consent
By entering, finalists and winners consent to the use of their name, business name, images, and any associated media content for promotional purposes across TLAs’ platforms.
Photography and videography will take place during the ceremony. Attendance constitutes consent to appear in official event media.
TLAs reserve the right to use all media from the event for marketing, press, and promotional activity.
9. Awards & Trophies
Each winner will receive one trophy per category.
Additional trophies can be purchased upon request after the event.
TLAs accept no responsibility for lost, damaged, or stolen trophies once presented.
10. Amendments
The organisers reserve the right to amend categories, judging criteria, or event details where necessary.
Any significant updates will be communicated in advance via official channels.
11. Agreement
By submitting an entry, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to all terms outlined above.
Participation in The Leading Awards (TLAs) constitutes a binding agreement to these terms and conditions.
12. Finalist Promotion & Collaboration
Finalists are expected to actively promote their finalist status across their social media platforms, websites, and marketing materials.
TLAs will provide official branding and assets for use, and all finalists are encouraged to tag and collaborate (where approved) with @theleadingawards on Instagram and other platforms.
This collaboration is crucial for maximum recognition and brand awareness, both for finalists and the awards as a whole.
Finalists agree to uphold the prestige of the TLAs brand when sharing content related to the event, maintaining professionalism and accuracy in all communications.
13. Event Conduct & Dress Code
The Leading Awards Gala is a celebration of excellence, innovation, and leadership across multiple industries — including aesthetics, beauty, business, and hair. This is the night to showcase professionalism, elegance, and confidence at the highest level.
The event is strictly black tie and ball gown.
Gentlemen: tuxedos or formal suits only.
Ladies: full-length gowns or statement formal wear — this is your moment to shine.
This is your red-carpet moment — pull out your best frock, represent your brand with pride, and bring the glamour worthy of The Leading Awards stage.
Attendees must conduct themselves with respect, professionalism, and integrity throughout the evening.
Any behaviour deemed inappropriate, disruptive, or disrespectful towards the organisers, guests, or brand will result in immediate removal from the venue and potential disqualification from future events.
The Leading Awards Gala celebrates the best in business and creativity — class, confidence, and excellence are not optional; they’re expected.
